A little update on the newsletter: It’s been an extremely busy spring and our schedule has been all over the place. But the truth is we miss you, so we’re going back to a weekly newsletter 😘 We’ll keep doing a full-length issue every other week, and then send out fun little tidbits or interactive threads in between.
Sounds great, right?! We’ll kick the new schedule off with a thread today. It’s getting hot and sticky in South Florida, after an oddly lovely (and breezy!) spring. Going to the beach. Oh, and drinking out of the hose. Mom wouldn’t let us IN the house. Had to wait until the hot, plastic taste ran through first. Run it in my mouth until it came out my nose. That always got a laugh. 😎
I can still taste those cups of Italian Ice! But I think my favorite was probably a creamsicle. Also, I remember quite a few ice-cold watermelons saving the day!
Did you call them Freeze Pops or Flavor Ice or Otter Pops growing up?
Either way, nothing more refreshing than pulling a frozen solid ice pop out of the freezer during a hot summer day, especially the pink flavor. Purple flavor was trash though. Tasted like frozen Dimetapp!

It was definitely Rita's Italian Ice on US-1 back in the day. Now it's rosé Txakolina from Basque Country, Spain 🇪🇸😀😍

DILLY BAR. take a big bite then eat the chocolate then the ice cream. Or... TCBY strawberry with sprinkles. I love this game so much.
